Service Description
Cloudtrim is an AWS cost optimisation platform that connects to your AWS accounts via read-only IAM cross-account roles, identifies waste and savings opportunities, and generates CloudFormation and Terraform code to remediate them.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, ensuring the IAM roles you create follow the principle of least privilege, and reviewing any IaC code before applying it to your infrastructure.
Read-Only Access
Cloudtrim connects to your AWS accounts using read-only IAM cross-account roles. Cloudtrim does not perform write operations on your AWS infrastructure. All access is limited to cost, metric, and resource metadata required for analysis.
IaC Generation & Liability
Cloudtrim generates infrastructure-as-code recommendations based on analysis of your AWS resources. You are solely responsible for reviewing and applying any generated IaC to your accounts. Cloudtrim accepts limited liability for infrastructure modifications made by users based on generated code.
Subscription & Billing
Cloudtrim is offered as a monthly subscription billed in AUD via Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Intellectual Property
The Cloudtrim platform, including its analysis engine, IaC generators, and user interface, is the intellectual property of Cloudtrim. IaC code generated for your accounts is yours to use freely.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for a reasonable period to allow export, after which it will be deleted in accordance with our privacy policy.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from the use of Cloudtrim will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
